A very warm welcome to Hiawatha Montessori School.

We are conveniently located on the outskirts of Beaconsfield and opened in 2007. We pride ourselves on delivering a high quality Montessori curriculum to children aged between two and five years of age.

Hiawatha Montessori School is a private nursery school and is OFSTED registered. We attract parents of children living in Beaconsfield, Farnham Common, Gerrards Cross, Chalfont St Peter and the outlying district. Access to the school is via a quiet private road and there is plenty of parking space available.

We have a spacious fully equipped Montessori classroom and the benefits of a large secure garden with a covered all weather area and an adjacent field and woodland, all of which form an excellent extension to our large classroom.

Our excellent team of staff are passionate in enabling children to reach their full potential. Through the Montessori approach we support children in becoming active and enthusiastic participants in their learning, giving them a great foundation for life.

At Hiawatha Montessori School we are committed to an ethos in which each and every child is respected and valued as an individual.

Children of different ages are in the same classroom, an important aspect of any Montessori school. This creates a thriving social and learning community where children learn to co-operate with others and develop sensitivity to the needs of themselves and others, an attribute vital to personal and social development.

Today the school flourishes as a centre of excellence where children between two and five years of age are nurtured and cared for, their wellbeing and happiness regarded as paramount.

On the pages that follow you will discover more about us, the Montessori methodology, and what our parents have kindly said about Hiawatha Montessori School.
